Most of the kite schools in Tarifa give courses ranging from 2 to 18 hrs. A day is normally 4 hours and in most cases in the afternoons starting from 2 pm. You will meet at the beach or in the shop depending on the kite school.

We recommend to take at least the 8 hours course and preferably more. This to decrease the learning curve and it will allow you to rent or buy equipment as practice the sport even when you have left Tarifa. After the 4 days course you will get that adrenaline shot of actually sailing the water. A 2 days course is not enough and you will still struggle with the waterstart.
