Publishing a book is a bit like giving birth to a baby - it involves a long period of gestation, the final stages are pure hard work, but when it is finally there it all seems worth it!

At the risk of repetition (see the introduction!) I really and sincerely hope this book will help you to optimize your time in Tarifa. There is so much more to do in and around Tarifa than meets the eye, both when it is windy and when there is no wind.

A week is really a minimum if you are to visit the interesting places nearby as well as appreciating to the full the beauty of the Andalusian countryside, not forgetting that the main objective of most visitors who choose Tarifa for their vacation is to ‘de-stress’ - and what better way to do this than taking long beach walks? You can then satisfy your appetite at one of the many good restaurants which you will pinpoint much easier and quicker by reviewing the suggestions in this book - some of which you would be unlikely to find at all without these recommendations!
