In the sunny south of Andalusia with its (almost) guaranteed good weather, (the temperatures fall in winter usually not below 16 degrees and in summer there always blows a fresh wind making it an ideal spot for all year-round riding.

Tarifa is the southernmost point of continental Europe and also the crossroads of the Mediterranean and Atlantic. The hotel is located about 6 km west of Tarifa, in the middle of the bay on the beach with views of Africa. The stables are located directly beside the hotel. From here you start ride the most beautiful beaches of the Costa de la Luz and the protected inland areas.

Accommodation

You stay in Hotel Hurricane where the stables are on site. This beautiful hotel is open all year round and situated directly on the beach. The hotel has a pool, a sauna and fitness room.

In the event that the Hurricane Hotel is fully booked, we reserve the Hotel Punta Sur. This is just 500 meters from the Hotel Hurricane (and the stables). Hotel Punta Sur has beautiful gardens with pool and sea views.

The star rides (meaning that all rides have our stables as a base to which to return to every day) will show you the most beautiful trails in the area of Tarifa. You will experience every day marvelously new adventures and unique flora and fauna. The riding company introduces you with first class knowledge to the surrounding nature.

The star rides are a great alternative if you want to be back in Tarifa in the afternoon to enjoy the many other options Tarifa has to offer. It is also a good option should your partner be windsurfing or kitesurfing during the day as these tours start in the morning at the stables to be back at the stables again in the afternoon.

From the stable, you ride on long sandy bays and beaches, which are not accesible by car. You will discover the most beautiful beaches and coves on the Costa de la Luz via donkey paths or passing through fields. Who wants to go swimming with his horse (weather and waves permitting). You pass through several nature parks with varied landscape, cork oak, pine and eucalyptus forests of rolling hills and rugged mountain scenery and cliffs. Again and again you will encounter free-running horses or cattle, ride through an exceptional nature with a huge variety of birds. The view of Africa creates new dreams.

Visit the monastery of Santuario de la Luz, where small 'Ventas', which are small family run guest houses, with traditional tapas, ham and wine await you. The Ventas are open from June to September. Outside the high season you take a picnic with you in your saddle bag. The routes, whether half or full day offering maximum variety and the opportunity to learn a lot about Andalusia.

The tours can be adjusted to your specific needs when you are in a small group.
