The apartment in La Peña is one of the most beautiful apartments in Tarifa. It has an incredible view and as it is situated in between Tarifa and Valdevaqueros so both town and surf spots are nearby. The apartment is walking distance to the beach of Los Lances and if you are a bird watcher you are on the best spot, next to the bird watching centre.

The American style kitchen is fully equipped but for the barbeque lovers the owners created an outside kitchen.

The main bedroom has a view to the sea and also from the second bedroom you can see the ocean. The sofa in the living room is a sleeping couch so one more could sleep. Although we think this it not ideal but if you have visitors they can always stay over for the night. The living room has a cosy fireplace, so if you are there in the more chilly period of the year you will still feel very comfortable.

On the huge terrace the sun beds invite you to look at the sunset while zipping at a glass of wine. If you really need a rest after hard work this is one of the best places Tarifa offers.

We booked Apartment La Pena last minute for a week in early December. The apartment turned out to be a pleasant surprise: bigger than it appears on the website and in a beautiful quiet location within a walled garden, with amazing sea views and views of Morocco. Even with strong winds, there are excellent sheltered places to enjoy the sunshine. The apartment has a comfy sofa, garden chairs and beds and a wood stove. The kitchen is very well equipped. A ten minute stroll brings you to the beautiful beaches of Los Lances, ideal for jogging. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and plan to return.
