"Almenara" is the name of the urbanisation which is located at the entrance of Tarifa at only one minute walk to the beach. The houses are built in a typical Andalusian style. After entering this gated holiday urbanisation you end up in some lovely communal gardens where each home has its own front yard, great for some sun lounging or to have a barbeque when coming from the beach. The white sandy beach in front of this house is one of the most stretched beaches of Tarifa.

The location is not only great for beach lovers, it is also very central to the nearby shopping center. As the urbanisation is only very recently built, great surf stores are opening up in the surrounding area and a brand new supermarket - on just a minute walk - has already opened its doors.

When you don't feel like going to the beach or when there is too much wind you can opt to take your sun loungers to the pool area and relax at the communal pool built in a tropical style. The pool area is complete with outdoor showers and a pool for small children. It is open from the 15th of June till de 15th of September.

After you have spend a day on the beach or at the pool, had your BBQ in the garden, you might opt to spend the last hours of the day on the comfortable lounge sofa in front of the flat screen hanging on the wall. There is satelite TV for those who don't want to miss what's going on at home.

The dining area which seats 6 (up to 8 and 2 high chairs for children) is a great alternative if you don't want to spend every night in one of the many Tarifa restaurants.

The modern kitchen is fully equiped with a dishwasher, oven, micro-wave, and all the electric appliances you need to make yourself a coffea and an extensive breakfast which you can enjoy in the kitchen itself, in the patio adjoining the kitchen or on the covered terrace on the frontside of the house from which you have views to the communal gardens and pool, the beach and the Atlantic ocean. On a clear day you can even see the coastline of Africa.

This house has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8). The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a big double bed from which you can hear and see the Atlantic Ocean. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and shares a bathroom with the 3rd bedroom that has two bunk beds which sleeps 4 people. Therefore making it also a great holiday home for 2 families with up to 4 children sharing the house.

There are 3 toilets and the bathrooms provide a hairdryer and bath towels. All three bedrooms have air conditioning. Beach towels are NOT provided and you are kindly asked not to take the towels from the house to the beach.
