| Description |
Whether you call it a hotel, apartment suites or a Guest House Dar Cilla is unique in Tarifa. It is located within the old 12th century walls. The word 'Dar' is Arabic for a town house in which a series of suites are grouped around a central courtyard.

Martina (manager) and Zoë (owner)
The owner - Zoe - converted an old ruin behind her own property
into seven exclusive self catering suites which are managed by Martina.
The accent lies on charm and comfort and all the suites have some
fine Moroccan touches.
Guests
who have stayed in Dar Cilla all praise – besides the very
friendly staff- the eye for detail; from the decoration to the warm
welcome - everything is done just right!

Dar Cilla's welcoming wine
The furnishing
is of a good quality, the bedrooms are romantic.
Most of the suites have a separate dining/sitting area, kitchen
and, not to forget, good reading lights should you wish to read
a book next to the wood burning fire!

The views from the roof terrace
Each suite is fully independent, but there is a pleasant air of
'sociability' and you can – should you so wish- meet fellow
guests and Zoë or Martina on the roof terrace over a glass
of wine.
Guesthouse Dar Cilla is a 2 minutes walk from the shops, restaurants
and tapa bars, so you are literally in the old town centre but without
the hassle and noise this normally brings.
The suites are very attractive but the real 'wow' factor comes when you go up onto the roof terrace with the shady bar area. Besides an interesting collection of sculptures the views are - in one word - stunning. The terrace overlooks the old town of Tarifa, the Strait of Gibraltar and Africa. On clear nights you can see up to the fifth row of the Rif mountains in Morocco.

The views from the roof terrace
Try the – hot or cold – open shower on the terrace with Africa on the background and we know you will a moment of total relaxation.
